Hako is handmade of massive oak with inlaid French bamboo mesh, creating a semi-transparent front surface around the box. The conic shaped legs and slim metal tray are made of brushed plated metal. The design is inspired by the Japanese way of using wooden boxes in interior. Hako is the Japanese word for box or storage.
